To check to see if the Office Source Engine Source is deactivated click on Start
on your main toolbar and then choose Run
from the menu. When the Command Prompt opens enter services.msc
and then press the Enter
key. When the window opens that displays a services list choose Office Source Engine
and then check to see if the service is disabled by checkingStartup Type
. If it indicates the service is disabled change it to Manual
and then click on OK
. Try to install the updates again.
