For Windows XP click on
Start on your main toolbar and choose
Run from the menu. When the Command Prompt window opens enter
ipconfig/flushdnsand then press the
Enterkey. If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 simply enter
ipconfig/flushdns into the search box after clicking on
Start and then press the
Enterkey. Right click on the main taskbar on your PC's desktop and choose
Task Managerfrom the menu. When the Task Manager window opens click on
Processes and then find
msnmsgr.exein the list of files. Click on the file and then click on
End Processat the bottom of the Task Manager window. If there is more than one of these files repeat the process. When you are finished continue to reload Windows Messenger and this should solve the error problem.
